MDW19 – Preview

Vinnie coffee table was born from the desire to create a space in which to store and hide all those objects that lie around a sofa (magazines, books, remote control, battery chargers) without overloading it by making it a bulky container.

The result is a circular plane split exactly into halves, a higher and more accessible part and a deeper and more storing part.

The table is made with the same technique used for the drums, creating continuous cylindrical plywood with no interruptions. Hence the name, which refers to Vinnie Colaiuta, the American drummer of Italian origin considered the best living drummer.
